When I find interesting fragments of broken shell, I always wonder where the other pieces are and how long they've been separated. When I collect and admire these small treasures, I can't help but think about PEOPLE...how we all begin as a part of something else. We move, we marry, we separate, we become our own 'island,' from which other pieces may eventually break away. Our edges, our insides, our unique shape tell our story. Beautiful is not always whole or perfect...beautiful can also be "broken."
These adjustable Moku Bracelets highlight the beauty of imperfection with 15-17 colorful, surf tumbled shell and sea glass fragments. These ocean treasures are strung onto the hand knotted macrame cord which is made from bonded nylon thread. One off round fresh water pearl creates the adjustable closure. Pull both rope cords in opposite directions to tighten the bracelet or pull the two ends of the bracelet away from each other to loosen.
Please note that there are 4 slightly different sizes offered within this listing. The adjustability of the design makes each bracelet a "One Size Fits Most." Remember that the bracelet will need to slip over your fist (in the same way you would put on a bangle). The smallest and largest adjustments for EACH bracelet are listed in the product picture.
