This bracelet was inspired by my desire to make a piece of jewelry for our keiki friends (children) that can be worn every day, without having to worry about taking it on or off and NEVER thinking twice about its durability. The Molokini bracelet is as tough as it is cute.
A surf tumbled cone shell or Edison Pearl float on colorful hand knotted cord. Molokini translates to "many ties" and is a perfectly fitting name for this bracelet that is made of 150 knots. The secure toggle closure with cowrie lip blends into this sweetly beachy bracelet, but still allows for easy on and off, AND it's adjustable! Just slide the small pearl up or down to overlap more or less of the braided cord. Postion the cowrie lip at the center of the overlap and voila! You have a perfect fit that doesn't need to be adjusted!
These keiki bracelets are approximately 5 inches at their smallest adjustment, and 5.75 at their largest.
Please measure your keiki's wrist before you purchase to ensure a good fit! You will want to add approximately 0.5 inches to your keiki’s wrist size in order to get their bracelet size. Need an alternative size? Please send me a message. I am happy to accommodate custom orders.
